Because of the growing threat of the armed group ISIS (IS or ISIL), and countries mobilizing themselves for a full blown war to eradicate this evil foe, we will talk more about this particular conflict instead of making it a mix and mash of different world conflicts within one blog. Humanity has always been at war. From small regional conflicts to major wars like the two World Wars of 1914-1918 and 1939-1945.

Today's wars are slightly different, and involves high tech weapons, insurgent warfare, and terrorist acts everywhere on the planet.

Everyday, we get sad stories of what is going on in Iraq, Somalia and other smaller scale wars. We are all awaiting some more bad news coming from North Korea and Iran Nuclear programs. It just seems that it's a never ending story......unfortunatly!

Wars are not fun, and sometimes I wonder if they are necessary anymore?
